Quoted from ledge:Update:
Cliffy has worked his magic again. 3 protectors for ID4. Not tested yet.
but these look fantastic.
Hi,
Any word if these made it to production? I don't see them on Cliffy's site.
I'm going through my newly acquired ID4, it's filthy, the thought of taking everything off the top to clean and relamp seems daunting.
In the mean time, some things are obviously incorrect. I know it's a long shot, but does anyone have spare flipper bats, a right sling plastic or a shooter lane ball gate wire?
My flipper bats were replaced with white bats with a black spade where the logo would normally be. I don't know what game they came from. I like them, but they obviously don't belong on an ID4.
Thank you
Thank you
Maybe there isn't supposed to be a one way gate. Mine does have the gate, but no wire form in it.
anyone else????
Hi all,
Does anyone know where to get a new mirrored back panel that goes at the end the PF, under the back box?
Quoted from Andyzola87:I’d imagine that will be hard to obtain. Is the whole back panel missing or just the mirror?
The mirror has a chuck broken off. I can probably have another one made up, or do it myself. I'd rather have an original though.
Quoted from Andyzola87:The only time I’ve seen them come up is when a game is being parted out. Not readily available unfortunately
That's what I suspected. It may be easy to fabricate one.
A daunting task.........
I'm cleaning the pf/ramps and replacing rubbers/burnt lamps etc on my ID4.
I've got the two main wire ramps off and have replaced the lower pf rubber. Now comes the daunting part. Removing the plastic ramps and the VUK wire guide.
Aside from taking lots of pictures, does anyone here have suggestions as to the best way to do this? Do the wires running from the switches and flash lamps that run under the pf have connectors that can be disconnected? I don't readily see any.
Sega didn't make this very easy, did they?
TIA
UPDATE: I was going to wait until the morning to take a closer look at this, however, apparently I'm most productive after 1:00am (not really, but you know how it is when a machine is on your mind). I removed the ramps, hopefully I'll remember in what order to reinstall them. what a PITA.

Ran me about 35.00 to have one laser cut. I have the file if anyone needs it.
Quoted from BulkOfTheSeries:I put my ID4 out on location, where it sits in a row with Simpsons DE, No Fear and Dialed In.
Where is it located, I get to Anchorage fairly often.
Thank you,
Already back together. It took 5 hours to clean, re-rubber and reassemble. It was the dirtiest pf I've ever had to clean. 23 years of coil dust and black rubber particles. Before you could barely see the lit inserts, now its bright. Looks so much better. And while it played fast before, it's really fast now, the games are shorter now.
