It has been that way for a half year or better . Thanks for the report . I'll got out on a limb as say no one was playing it either .

Have fun! I am there next week. Is the annex at the Riviera any good?

    #16 6 years ago

I love the annex. Unfortunately NBAFB was down, IM and LOTR were playing well though. I mean, a good number of pins and $1 Pacificos, a win.

    #17 6 years ago

    My #1 is out....

I think we have different definitions of "working"

    Anyways, enjoy PHOF!

    #19 6 years ago

There is plenty of discussion regarding the PHoF. It could be a lot of things else.
I know I could not do what Tim does. Constant din of machines and complaining customers, would drive be nuts.
The WoZ is not with the row of new machines, it could be easily missed.

    Sounds like a win thanks!

Maybe Lights Out Crystal Ball Mode is running continuously.

    #22 6 years ago

My wife is watching Sister Wives and she noticed they were at the PHOF. I noticed they had a Metallica and LOTR near the door. There was a crowd around LOTR and no one around MET. Just an observation in a 2 second scene. I definitely want to go there someday.

    #23 6 years ago

There are some rare machines at the PHoF. If you like EM stuff there many of those. It is great fun, and the money goes to the Salvation Army. $20.00 should last for hours, were as $20.00 will not last that long in one of those casinos on the Strip.

    #24 6 years ago

Nice, glad you made it out there!

you get to put any $$ in Pinball Circus? Always wanted to play it.

    #25 6 years ago

I will try to answer everyone's questions and concerns at the moment!

The WoZ is not in an isle of pins from the same "era". There are a lot of wedgeheads around it. The pin itself works. The only part that is not working correctly is the lighting. They are aware of it and said that they would fix it when they can get to it. I did not see anyone play it while I was there. It was probably a combination of things. 1. Lights out. 2. Not in a high traffic area. 3. Cost $1.00 to play.
They were very busy there today. Just keeping things running was a lot of work.

The Metallica is by the door and costs $1.00 to play three balls. The LOTR is also near the door but is less money and 5 balls if I remember correctly. I had a great time there today but I had to leave early. I hope to make it back out there before leaving Vegas on Wednesday.

Yes, played several games of Circus Pinball! How would you like to be the executive who decided not to send that pin to production?? Great game.
Overall, had a great time there today! Hope to go back maybe on Monday? A lot of work keeping those pins in a playable condition. Keep at it Tim!

was this at the PHOF, I thought Tim had the standard model?

    #29 6 years ago

I went back to the PHoF today and met up with fellow Pinsider, Unigroove! We spent some time talking about Tim's place and about his copy of Pinball Circus. He explained some of the different things that Python had wanted to do with it. We played a couple of games together before he wanted to go talk shop with Tim. Later in the evening, I invited Unigroove to share a meal with us and afterwards, we took a tour of the Las Vegas Strip via our rental car.
I had a great time tonight! I got to have a great conversation with a fellow Pinsider AND I got to play a lot of pinball! Keep up the good work Tim! BigB

It was very nice meeting BigB and to talk and play some pinball with him. Thanks for showing me around a bit

    #31 6 years ago

I think that head lamp is surgically attached to Tim's head.

    #32 6 years ago

That's a very good tool for working on pins. Never crossed my mind, but I'm going to have to try it. I think I even have one lying around somewhere.

    #33 6 years ago

That place is amazing. I"ve been once and can't wait to get back there.

So many pins. All very cheap to play.

Nothing pisses me off more than when someone bitches about a pin not working all the way, etc. there. Just be happy there is a place like this to go!

    Have fun and enjoy!!!

    #34 6 years ago

I was there over the weekend too! I thought it was great.

I recall Tim telling me he offers helpers a free stay in his trailer in the back of the building while they are visiting if they help to maintain/work on machines, anyone ever actually do this?
