Howdy guys,
So after tearing down the glove mechanism and cleaning the gearboxes on my Johnny Mnemonic, I got maybe three games in before the glove stopped working / moving completely. I was stumped for a while, but after following some leads I came to the circuit board below the playfield that the two glove motors connect to. After taking the board out I noticed burn marks around the "D1" diode holes. In attempting to remove the diode I think I may have worsened the burn, either way I am wondering whether board repair is the next step? If anyone knows the possible cause for this, that'd be appreciated too.
