Had a buddy blow out the cap in the metal box where the in line fuse goes. Im not sure which disc cap to use to replace it. Any help is much appreciated. It is the metal box where the on off button is on the bottom right corner of the cab if you are looking in from above. See pic of smoked cap. Any help is much appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

That's an inline thermistor (resistance varies with temperature) which limits the 'inrush' current when you first turn the pin on.

Buy: https://www.newark.com/amphenol-advanced-sensors/cl-30/ntc-inrush-current-limiter-2-5/dp/81F3387

Data sheet: https://www.farnell.com/datasheets/1855932.pdf

There might be another issue causing the part to fail, or it could have just been due to old age. Wouldn't hurt to make sure the fuses are the correct size, especially the one on the supply coming into the pin. If a fuse is the wrong size (i.e. wouldn't blow) and there's a problem, then the thermistor would take the brunt of it instead.
