I live in TN and am interested in a game for sale in Canada. As it would be shipped to me, what do I need to know about importing a game (value approx $8k). Do I have to pay any customs fee or similar? What is risk of sale being held up by customs? Risk of not having it insured for declared value ($8k); if insured/declared for that value = import fees???

    Pitfalls? Advantages?

Money is tight enough, I don't want to dork this up and lose! Any advice much appreciated!!!!

Pinballs are made in the USA so there's no duty or import fees.

You may need to pay local tax but I've never seen it happen in my 20 years of selling games in the US from Canada.
