I had a really good ball one at leagues tonight on Tron and learned a very important lesson: it's not always the best move to try for points on extra ball plunges.

I'd lit solid the tree without disc (but played disc) and instead of doing what I should have and full plunging the ball, I went for the skill shot forgetting it would start SOS. I was a bit caught up in how good the ball was. I might not have actually finished disc on the next ball but thinking back on it, soft plunging the extra ball to try and get the 500K was not the right move. I left a possible Portal run on the table. Whoops.

I'm really enjoying leagues and I think it's helping me play better. And it's just fun learning more of the games I probably wouldn't play otherwise.
