Has anyone been notified of shipment yet? I imagine the first games are about to be shipped out.

Quoted from chadderack:Talking to them yesterday, from what I understood the 7th was the first production day on Stern's line for JJ's IMVE games. Then JJ said something about them not doing a drop shipment from Stern, but that they receive all NIBs at their site first. It would be cool if we could get a clarification on how that works. I'm assuming they don't open the boxes and then repack them.
That is something different, the shipping part. I was told by my distributor that it would be shipping direct to me. Since it comes to my place of work the shipping is actually cheaper than going to the distributor.
Quoted from Concretehardt:How much for a strip of both sizes?
A strip of 10 protectors would be $12.00 shipped via mail. If you want a strip of each size it would be $22.00 shipped.
Quoted from Grinder901:Hell why not. Me too! We have any choice in ring color?
I can cut them in any color that I have a roll of vinyl. I have all of the standard colors plus some funky ones such as metallic pink and metallic purple, even some neon colors. The black and silver that I used seem to match the artwork the best on Metallica.
Finished changing out all the bulbs in mine. Installed frosted whites for the GI. Color matched the inserts as well as installed color bulbs in the white inserts to tone it down a bunch. Also removed all the white flashers and installed colored flashers. Looks so much nicer, and less blinding.

Thanks to Curly at LSOG, and Donnie, who delivered, setup, and installed shaker.
Perfect in every way...I have a floor lamp across the room, with no other light, the Metallic
Iron Man is glowing off the cabinet. Thats a first to me! Camera wont capture it, but its like its
lit itself.
Playfield is immaculate. Play is, well, you know, fast and fast.
Shaker is very nicely integrated.
Of course, I may screw with the lighting. Op-Max in the spots...a must.
more Purple maybe pink, and frosted bulbs, and fix the color on the white inserts.
Simple game, tough game,,,,it fits well in its difference from other games, AC/DC, X-men, its closest cousin is BBH.
We are pretty damn lucky to get an announcement, and a game, without waiting years, and with code!
...anyone on the fence, dont be
Post some pics of what you do with the colors. This is what I did to mine with your bulbs. I need to get some of the 555 cyan bulbs, only have the 47s at the moment.
IMG_1788.JPGQuoted from epthegeek:Yes. This. I'm not sure why Kawydud went with a rainbow of fruit flavors. Seems out of place to me.
It was a quick attempt, wanted to get the whites out of there. It came out backwards since I was wanting to start with the blue.
Quoted from NightTrain:What's the video mod?
I think this. https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/new-mod-micro-display-mods-and-tspp-video-tv
Just finished cutting some magnet protectors for Grinder. These are just peel and stick vinyl protectors. When they show any signs of wear just peel them off and stick a new one on. They are $12 shipped for 10 of them. They can be cut in other colors as well as different sizes. I have them for Metallica LE and premium.
