Netflix:
Everything sucks! (only one season so far)
You kind of had to grow up in the 90's to really appreciate this one. It has a VHS/Blockbuster/Home made movie nerd feel to it that is really done well.

Rick and Morty is pretty fantastic as far as a well written cartoon comedy.

An older one: The War at Home
Decent show with Jewish comedian Michael Rapaport that didn't last nearly long enough in the mid 2000's. I thought it was great.

I do want to watch Godless. Heard from two others that it's worth watching the entire series.

Quoted from toyotaboy:

Anyone that hasn't bothered to watch this series are probably regarding it as just "one of those silly adult swim cartoons". It's funny, futuristic, and has some really serious sad moments. I think anyone that has conflicts with their own life can relate to Rick.

As a bonus, look up the show "House of Cosby's" which the creators (one of which is Justin Roiland of Rick and Morty fame) received a cease and desist letter from Bill Cosby's attorney in June 2005.

You can find the 4 episodes on the internet that they managed to get out before receiving the letter from Cosby's attorney. Keep in mind that this was way before any credible sexual assault allegations against him as well.

That show is very raw and really gives you a glimpse in to the creator, 10 years prior. Has some of the same good stuff that makes Rick and Morty entertaining.

I enjoyed these enough to watch all episodes:

Magic for Humans
Derek
Stranger Things
Everything Sucks!
Godless
Schitt's Creek

I agree that some episodes of Ozark are much better than others.

I like Shameless too but there are definitely parts that just bored me to skipping entire episodes after seeing the same things rehashed 10 times over and over again.

Watched Madmen and thought it sucked.
Watched the Following and thought it sucked.
