It might not be for everyone, but White Lotus is outstanding. Cinematography, great characters (and acting), and outstanding writing.
Severance is such a mind-bend. Difficult to binge-watch more than 2 episodes at a time, but a very different sort of show.
Finally, I'm so surprised by how few of my friends have seen The IT Crowd. Debuted in 2006, but great comedy (if Atari and Monty Python had a baby, this would be the show).
3 episodes into The Bear. Watching mostly because our friends have raved about it. We were told that you have to get past the 8th episode and it "gets good."
Happy to hear confirmation on this.
It's certainly intense. And the cinematography is outstanding. But having worked in diners and high-end restaurants, it feels too-real and too stressful to watch more than an episode at a time.
