Quoted from schwarz:

Isn’t Cobra Kai supposed to be bad, like on purpose? Kinda like Sharknado, WWE, Fast and Furious and all that shit...

To me it's the perfect balance of campy (funny bad), actually pretty good, and nostalgic for those that grew up with the movies. I practically fired it after each of the first 2 or 3 episodes. For some reason I kept watching and ended up bingeing it by the end. If you can't deal with at least some bad on purpose, then you won't like it.

Cobra Kai Never Dies!

For more serious recommendations, my wife and I both like British detective / crime drama shows. Broadchurch, The Fall, and Happy Valley (all on Netflix) are all EXCELLENT shows.

I love Travelers and was super bummed when it got cancelled.

Is Travelers worth starting at this point? Does the series wrap up in a satisfying way or will it just leave me frustrated? I was on the fence about watching this show, but now I'm concerned if it ends abruptly and without resolution.

Has anyone that’s watched the Witcher also played the PC game? I’ve been aiming to play it, but I’m wondering which I should do first, the show or the game.

Quoted from skink91:

I had played Witcher III back in the day (PS3 or 4 can’t remember)… it was great, if you like RPGs - probably one of the best of all time. Hard to say which to do first at this point though.

He yeah, I should have been more specific, Witcher III is what I’m gonna play. I have not (and don’t plan to) play W I&II. I know W III is really in depth, so just wondering if that game or the show is a better first foray into the franchise, and which will give me fewer spoilers. I don’t know if they overlap or if one sort of feeds the other.

If you like Danny McBride humor you will devour those two recommendations. I preferred EBAD over VP but I am confident you will end up watching both.

I never really got into VP, and eventually forgot to even try to keep watching it. Meh.

EBAD was awesome though. Kenny Powers FTW!
