Nice. It is great to have that kind of variety when you have the space and are not limited.

"Famous Last Words". I bet you still have lots of room, and you don't have any pins in your Butlers Pantry, Foyer, or the Maids Quarter.

You trolled me good Odin. I fell for the title and clicked the thread. You win this round.

I can't be thinking about buying another machine until these are up and running again.

Do you have any furniture in your house?

    #9 3 years ago

The great thing about pinball for many of us is that while there's only a few new games being released every year, there are hundreds of new games experiences to have on older games if played for the first time. An old game played for the first time is just as novel as the brand new game. The joy of collecting continues...

    Lol, that is hilarious dude

    #12 3 years ago

Not going to lie, I made an announcement in the Ohio thread that I was going to sell JM and TAF. After the activities from just this week alone with BM66 and all these games STARTING at $9000 a pop now, I'm keeping my games. If I let go of anything in my collection, shit, I'm starting to wonder if I'll be priced out....

    So yep, with you, O-din!

    #13 3 years ago

I will take that BSD off your hands

    #14 3 years ago

    I'm buying what you're selling.

    #15 3 years ago

Very nice collection, you should see Back Alley Mat for a Temple upgrade.on your Ripleys, I did mine, and they look great!!

Sometimes I feel that way first thing in the morning. But two cups of coffee and I'm good to go!

    #17 3 years ago

Cyclone is my favorite out of the group.

Totally lame Odin. You've been whining incessantly for years about the need for "a 21st Century theme," JJP delivers in spades, and you aren't in?!

Enjoy your antiques, you nostalgic old fossil.

    #19 3 years ago

The 21st century theme seems cool enough, but not at a 22nd century price.

    #20 3 years ago

Honestly since this Skateball arrived I haven't really had the urge (or money or room) to keep buying more games. And the theme is timeless. People still skate you know. This game kicks ass!

Yep, back to my Captain Fantastic restoration.

I might even sell AC/DC Premium and put the money into a couple of super nice System 11 games.

    #22 3 years ago

Hay,I'm a nostalgic old fossil too!!

    #23 3 years ago

She's a beauty ,I played one at PAGG,couldn't stop playing this pin!!!

    Quoted from hawkmoon:

I'm not really that nostalgic when it comes to games now as all I have mostly I never even saw back in the day let alone played. But I've fine tuned the collection with some of the best playing and mostly cool original themes I could find. BSD and Ripley's are the only two licensed games I own. But they can stay too.

    #25 3 years ago

You need to get rid of those DMD games
They take up valuable space that should be used for true classics

    #26 3 years ago

wow that skateball is a beaut! I'm thinking you may want to send that one and Magic Clock my way for a down payment on a Houdini or DILE

    #27 3 years ago

Now that's a nice Skateball! And I have about the same feeling, I'm done with NIBs for a while. Prices have gone beyond what's acceptable, especially once imported here, with the fall of the Euro vs USD in the last 2 years.

Id clasify Robin Hood as a licenced theme

    #29 3 years ago

I'll find me a nice skateball one of these days. They are getting really hard to come by.

I got rid of Ripley's once, but when it became available again I snatched it right back. You want to talk about a great playing Pat Lawlor game? That and Earthshaker are my two favorites of his.

I'm really digging my two Barry Oursler games as well. Hard to top BSD with any game from the 90s. And Cyclone? What can you say about Cyclone besides how great it is?

    #31 3 years ago

BSD and Skateball... you have good taste =D

hmmm, i dunno man, i think you should get rid of that Cyclone...to me! ...Or just trade it for $ and we'll trade back later

    #33 3 years ago

I like what I have, no need to chase. Anything I do want is a couple to several years back, and thousands and thousands less than anything new.

I'm kind of the same way. If something becomes available in a reasonable distance I'll go take a look but I'm not in a hurry to go buy anything. Everything's attainable with some patience.

You shouldn't. It's a machine themed around a character that's been in the public domain for over 600 years.

If it were based on one of the recent Robin Hood movies, then yes, it'd have to be licensed.

    #36 3 years ago

And that's Lady Robin Hood by the way.

Yes, but is a theme borrowed from somewhere else

By that logic aren't all themes licensed?

All themes are borrowed from somewhere else.

    #40 3 years ago

I have a Trade Winds as well. That theme was borrowed from nature.

I've also got this Steve Ritchie masterpiece in good players condition that I've been working on out in the garage. You can argue whether that is an original or licensed theme too, but when I get it back together we are going to play the heck out of it and I may end up deciding to keep it also.

I do have furniture but most of it is old antiques that nobody else would probably want so I will probably be hanging on to them too.

Your Earthshaker and Comet look hella fun man.

    #46 3 years ago

I'm sold on adding more BMX bikes & Aliens to my basement instead of cell phone games & Adam West shenanigans

Shit. Alien on a BMX bike would be a better theme.

Just need Elliot in a basket & Reeses Pieces on the fucking floor.

How many f ing pins do you have Odiner?

    Sweet looking bunch.

I might join you on the EM trail now.

About had it with the BS too.

Where is the infamous screen door.

    #48 3 years ago

Nothing wrong with a few more EMs while others duke it out with market insanity right now.
    Patience is a virtue.

There are some sweet deals to be obtained right now while no one is looking. These games are just sitting with no real buyers.

Just picked up a fully restored Joust (Bally, 1969) for $850. This includes all proper color touchups on the cabinet, new playfield glass, and other parts. Good deal.

Officially part of the permanent collection versus restore que.
