Can anyone point me in a direction in Phoenix of where to play some pinball.
I'm staying at the Hilton Phoenix Suites on Thomas Road and Central.

Castles and coasters had a bunch of pins. They were in decent shape when I was there in march.

Steer clear of Golfland, pins are not playable. Was at Castles n Coasters yesterday, other than the pins being dirty they play mostly well. I did a double take when I saw bare wood on the Iron Man playfield though.

Whenever you are in Mesa, you should try out Starfighters Arcade, they have 8 machines playable. It only opens only Friday & Saturday every week from 7-11pm.

Castles and Coasters is owned by the same group as Golf N Stuff down in Tucson. G&S has been very receptive to letting us (me and another guy who plays there often) pop the glass and clean/wax PF's. They fix stuff when we point it out too. PHX should have better attention to their larger location collections. Maybe they just need some prodding and to be told that the games won't be played by pinheads unless they are playable.

Collectors in the PHX area have some pretty awesome setups.

For years we tried to get castles and coasters to let some of us collectors to come in on our own time after close and shop pins all night. Due to the liability of us not being staff they said we couldn't. Some games there have gotten pretty bad over the years.

I know it's been a while since this thread was active, but any decent places to play some pinball on the weekends in Phoenix/Mesa/Tempe/Scottsdale Area? I'm a resident and usually go to CnC, but looking for more variety. Plus half of the time their machines are missing something (a ball, a flipper, power, etc.). I heard about the pin emporium but didn't know if that was still around. Any suggestions would be awesome.
