Quoted from mountaingamer:some folks just need more of a challenge
You can make games with simpler rules difficult to play as both can be mutually exclusive. You can open (or remove) the outlane posts, set crate and coffin to hard (or extra hard), tighten the tilt, turn off ball saves and extra balls.
I find the rules for most EMs simple and easy to follow. Problem is trying to keep the ball in play long enough to do much. Getting so close to something of an epic game but never quite there is the hook to keep you coming back.
Games like TSPP are such a chore at times that after 30 minutes I know to get to this point again in the next game I'll have to play another 30 minutes.
