5 jerseys listed. A pair of shoes. Shenmue 2 Dreamcast European import, 16 gallon bow front aquarium, and portable dishwasher. Debating about my 6 player x-men arcade from early 1990s, huge space eater, but lots of fun and rare.

BSD, BR and WCS are all good dmd games you can get well under $3K. If you stretch that $3K to $3.5K you can add a lot more to the list (CFTBL, STTNG, WH2O...I even bought 2 different IJ machines for $3,500 and $3,600 each not long ago, though this will take some patience . There are still enough guys around willing to sell good pins for good prices; not everyone is holding out for $4k+ on some A titles. Keep an eye out and strike fast.
I did this too so that i could buy my first nib a few years back (tron le)..... i sold my snes, turbografx/turbo duo, gameboy, and genesis collection too. they were all just collectin dust in my closet, so it turned out to be a win win for me.
Quoted from treibj:I sold a chunk of my sports card collection to fund my last two pins, and it didn't even make a dent. I don't miss any of it. My favorites and sentimental cards I kept.
I could sell my Mustang and get about 10 or 12 of the $3000 games...but that aint NEVER gonna happen.
I have lots of old audio equipment, much of it quite good (Proceed, NAD, Carver, Gallo, etc.) that I need to get around to selling one of these days. It would be nice to have those funds in hand when ST appears. Selling stuff is such a pain that I hardly ever do it. Clearly, I need to get in that groove.
Quoted from nephasth:A couple years ago I sold my 300+ piece Death Metal vinyl record collection on ebay for over $7k. All that money went to my wedding... I should have bought pins instead!
Nice!!

Aww x-men arcade is great! That and the simpsons!

Ugh if I sold my car I could get the AC/DC, MM, And a bunch more. But then I would have no ride haha
sell the 6 player xmen!! dude, that game is frigin' huge. you could def free up enough space for 2 pins with all that extra room.

Quoted from Choggard:Buy a Demolition Man, it's a great game with a ton of cool ramps..
I agree, DM is one of my favorites.
Quoted from Choggard:Buy a Demolition Man, it's a great game with a ton of cool ramps..
I need to play it. But it looks like fun.
I honestly think I could put at least three pins in its place. Has to be biggest arcade ever but great party game.
Quoted from rmancini:I need to play it. But it looks like fun.
Mine isn't leaving anytime soon. At first I thought I'd buy it and sell it down the road but after playing it I like it better than my JP,FH,Pinbot, Highspeed, etc.. Can't believe how great it is...
Quoted from Choggard:Never played that BSD, but I am picking up a TFTC this weekend. Both games are highly reviewed..
Ahh another game to put on my list!
So far only item getting bids is my Shenmue II Dreamcast European Import game, jerseys have lots of watchers but no bids as of yet, anyone who likes authentic throwbacks should go and check out my items

I own both....I love horror themed pins! The ramps on TFTC are bada$$.....it's got great call outs, lighting especially blinged with LEDs, and plenty of multi ball action. The artwork is very corny but so was the tv show....fits very well IMO.
SCARY!

Yeah does look corny, but I agree so was the show.. Doesn't look too kid friendly though and I've got young boys.. With the whole chainsaw head chopping scene on DMD.. I am sure my six year old will spot that right away and tell mom on me.. It may not last very long in my house will see.. Lol

Eh....I have a 6 month old and it isn't going anywhere. It's fake...kids have to learn that...why not learn it through the love of pinball better to learn it at home than somewhere else. Women like to blow these things out of proportion. It's just a game...your wife and kids need to understand that at the end of the day.
It's not like you are watching porn

Porn is fake too. Why not learn it through the love of pinball?

Good question.....why not?!
UPDATE:
New Sales!
old broken macbook air for 157.50
Some Mego action figure parts for 5.24
A old g-shock watch for 62.50
OLD sales
Penny Hardaway Jersey 20.50
Brings my total to $245.74
Still a long ways to go. But Getting somewhere.
She mute 2 for dreamcast is over $60 now had no idea people would want that. Jerseys are awaiting bids.
I do a big bunch of sales like this every few years. I do it like this: anything I haven't touched in a year, I don't need. Out the door it goes!!
I have had a few things go for crazy money too: a vertical turntable went for 800+, a Radio Shack collection of remote control cars went for over $2k! I even had a super rare Super Nintendo game (Earthbound) that went for $1000!
I bought a big box of Legos off of ebay, made some complete sets, sold them on ebay and made 2K off of a box that cost me $175.00. I then sold some unused stuff and made about 1.5K. Very little work involved and I ended up buying two machines with the cash. It definitely can be done. It is a little time consuming, but I would rather work at home on my PC then to be at my job which sucks hardcore.
I think I might try and do this too, in the past I get sentimental selling things but I think I'll try and do this too.
I am going to try something like this myself, I have tons of old console stuff lying around and once my hyperspin setup is done out it will go. This is fun to watch your progress though OP! Good luck
I'm thinking i have about 4k in stuff I can sell. Big items would be a guitar and amp i don't use much, afew warhammer armies and maybe my space jam.
bored? get a pin that need alot of work, should cost a couple bills- then enjoy the labor and a cool pin
I have a huge LEGO collection, don't plan to get rid of it all, but selling off a few of the big items that I just don't have room to display anymore. Just sold off my LEGO Star Destroyer for about $600. I did sell a LEGO Falcon for $1400 last year, but used that towards a downpayment on our house. Which technically went towards pinball, since I wasn't allowed to own one until we got a bigger place.
Quoted from rmancini:I am probably going to just buy an AC/DC with money I have saved. But with the ebay money I think I will go with something I probably would never have thought to own. So I'm going to hunt and play around. I have never played Shadow or congo so I will check them out.
Here is the stats on where I am at with ebay.
My first item sold yesterday
Penny Hardway Champion Jersey from when I was a kid. $20.50
So my total so far is $20.50
This may take a while.
Anyone else that's doing this I am curious to see your progress!
Quoted from pinmanguy:I'm thinking i have about 4k in stuff I can sell. Big items would be a guitar and amp i don't use much, afew warhammer armies and maybe my Space Jam.
Ya, I have a Flames of War army I need to get listed and sold.
