OP- You may be the most level headed aggravated customer I have encountered. I totally respect your approach and words.

I do think the star cracks were very minor. I also have been somewhat shocked at the veteran pinsiders who acted like this was a huge deal. I assumed most people in pinball for a while and who have owned many games would understand this minor type of issue was very common. In some cases I imagine the bashers are just waiting to bash something. Cody Chunn's posts were the way I feel.

I also agree that JJP should of sent you a ramp. How much could it cost...$25? $50? Not that much and it shows good will.

Pinball machines are prone to all sorts of issues.

My nib Metallica had a poorly installed head decal, missing rubber, and a flaky switch. I fixed the issues and did not complain about the decal.

My nib TRON had a bad disc motor (Stern did replace it).

My nib Hulk had so many issues I am not going to list them.

People receiving Kiss are having troubles getting there machines to work.

Point is, pinball machines are dicey and you have to be understanding or you will drive yourself into a frenzy.
