Mirco is in a position to reproduce the mini playfield for IJ and is looking to gauge interest. The artwork has been ready for quite a long time. The main playfield is waiting for licence approval as most are probably aware. The mini pf doesn't have copyright restrictions like the main playfield does and he can actually start producing them as soon as next week. Is anyone interested?

#3838 11 months ago

He’s quite good at responding to questions and you should ask him in the mirco 2018 thread. There are people like me that need one and people that already restored their original playfield. Honestly I don’t this as being any different than the TZ mini playfield offering from a few years ago. Buy together, buy separate. All the same to me.

Throw some cotton in the ark mod and it will spread out the light and look more like the scene from the movie

Quoted from Billc479:

Donnie -
I'm in the dark about what's going on there. Maybe someone else can chime in. I'm curious and will be following this.

I’m curious too. Is there a main thread for this somewhere else?

Im in the club! Finally after years of waiting the opportunity presented itself. Its going to look perfect next to my TZ

Installed the jackpot speaker panel led mod. Lovin' it!
[quoted image]

I just found the original Williams board for this in my hoard of parts. Did you cut the holes in the speaker panel yourself?

A couple details to take care of yet like the partially translucent sides and a proper harness. Then where to mount it.

I’ve been putting off installing my art blades as I worry I’d trash them doing it. Then worry about trashing them doing playfield maintenance. I wonder if putting Mylar over them would look terrible.

Was IJ originally built with white or yellow flippers?

Does anyone know the type and size of screws holding the gun to the cabinet?? thanks.

They are “stove” bolts due to the square shank under the domed head. They’re about 1.5 inches long X 3/16 course thread

This is interesting. I’ve certainly
Been wondering why the rejects happen so often considering the exact design works so flawlessly in terminator 2.

Airball protectors
***Last call - last batch***
I've got many requests, so 2nd, last batch is almost ready. If you have contacted me, no need to do it again, I will contact you about details.
I have few extra, here is the last chance.[quoted image]

Does anybody know what the heck these T-Nuts are for in the cash-box area?
[quoted image]

I’d like to know too. Kind of odd

Superball is the 4th ball that you opt in to use. It's not enabled by default so you have to go into settings and turn it on. Strange I know since they installed the button for it.

Some additions from Lior and Davi. Love this idol, so much better than the original.

I don’t mind the stock ruins but I have considered painting them to match. I find the detailed mods pull from the translite details and help blend the contrast between the playfield the two already have.

If anyone missed out on Davis airball protectors and want to make a their own quick. I used the old plastic from the upper left trough and overlayed it with a new hole. It worked quite well for reducing airballs. I went from several hitting the glass to zero. It’s not as strong and doesn’t cover the exact area but it improves gameplay quite a bit. Here’s a side by side comparison

And what’s the word with these jackpot boards fitting in when a color dmd is installed?

Nice. Who makes those? And what’s the scale?

davi I didn’t know these were available. Do you have a thread for these?

I have a sound issue with the “extra ball” callout. When earning an extra ball after using the super ball button there is no sound. The animation will come up and be completely silent. So to be clear I’ll use the original 3 balls, use up the superball (4th ball) and if I’ve collected a 5th ball this will happen. Anyone else have this?
