Quoted from FlippyD:I've seen that plated on HEP Indy's before.
Does anyone know the story behind them though? Was it for proto or sample games only? Is there any place to buy them? I'd love to have a gold plated POA versus the red plastic.
Gold plating would look awesome. That's a great idea.
Unfortunately it's a regular playfield. The stainless POA must have been added at some point. I'm guessing a prototype got parted out.
Does anyone use spotlights to brighten up their Indy? The center insert area can be kind of dark. Any other locations? How about those short LED strips? I'm trying to figure out how to brighten things up without going the Pinstadium route. Thanks.
Those start posts do look good. What kind of radius do they light up? I've got some spotlights so I will experiment with those, and I also have some led strips. I agree that the center insert area is what needs to be brighter.
Quoted from Davi:It helps at least 3 inches. I've installed 2 on the left, 2 on the right. That's enough for me. You can add more. If you don't like, easy to remove, and easy to play with different types.[quoted image][quoted image]
Cool! Looks great.
My Indy came with the knocker unplugged. Can someone tell me where it is supposed to plug in? There doesn't seem to be any unused cables.
Thanks!
Quoted from Djshakes:Thanks guys. Sold 1/3 of my supply in less than 12 hours. Get them while u can.
Got mine today and put them in. I'm sooo glad I did. Like people who have them say - it's a different game. No more worries about shooting for those drops and cringing as you wait for the ball to fly into the glass. You can tell it now plays like it was intended. They look great, too. Thanks DJShakes!
