I've seen a number of old posts about changing/replacing the planes on the ramps. Does anyone make such replacements or is it a one off that you do yourself?
I can't find the 2 LED flasher assembly board (A-16834) for the fighter plane for sale anywhere. Does anyone know where I can get one of these?
Does anyone know the part number for the metal bracket that connects the fighter plane to the right ramp?
Quoted from Davi:I guess this is not available. However one of the easiest metal part to create yourself.
Agreed. Does anyone have good pictures that I could use to make one? I'd need measurements, hole sizes and spacings, etc.
What if you went down a coil size for the flippers, would that solve the problem? If the current coils are too strong, certainly one coil size down should still be able to make the ramps?
Quoted from KornFreak28:Updated list:
PSW
Hawkeyexx
shepP
maf-mi
Lawnboy
Fremen
Hammerhead
Souldrider911
MikeHogue
CoPinFan
Maide
Take me off the list for now, still trying to decide what to do.

It looks amazing. It's a shame that once in the game it will go largely unnoticed by all but a few avid IJTPA connoisseurs.
Generic flipper question, but it happened on my IJTPA so I'm posting here.
I've been playing with no issues until very recently. Over the last few games the right flipper has been losing power until now it has stopped working altogether. Breaking the beam on the opto board with a screwdriver does not register in switch test. The problem stays on the right even when you swap opto boards. Left flipper is good and strong, so not a fuse.
Any thoughts?
Quoted from pinballinreno:Swap the flipper boards to see if the problem moves to the other side first, to see if it's a board problem.
If it remains the same, check the wires for a break or looseness on a idc connector.
Swapped the boards already with no change, also played around with the connectors. I would understand this approach if they just stopped working, but not if they gradually lost power over a few games.
Quoted from Ericpinballfan:1993 was a long time ago. Boards need rebuilding or all new. I did go with all new board set except sound board. Still plan on going pinsound for that one.
What's involved in rebuilding? Swapping out caps? Anything else?
Quoted from Ericpinballfan:Its not hard, but its the traces on the back of the boards. Those are old to. Its not for everyone, its always best to send to a pro. As an at home DYI, I dont reccomend it.
Also, its just me, but i went with all new. For the money ive put in machine, another $500 to bulletproof was worth it.
Forgot to provide an update.
Swapped out all of the caps and the BR in the fliptronics board and the flippers are all good and strong again. Thanks for everyone's assistance.

Can someone be so kind as to provide the missing dimensions in the attached sketch so that I can fabricate a mounting bracket for my fighter jet.
Much thanks!
