Holy shit, dude. That’s awesome. Are all your pins silo’d off and integrated into a room theme?

Quoted from pinballinreno:This crimper:
amazon.com link »
It even has the little latch that releases the ratchet in the handle.
These round pin connectors:
https://www.greatplainselectronics.com/categories.asp?cat=35
.093 for fat wires
.062 for skinny wires.
Most pinball wire is size awg18 or awg22.
Maybe size awg16 for transforner wires.
This will tell you what pins to get.
But i buy the 28-22awg pins and sockets.
They match my crimper.
Ed has the best connectors. They work perfectly and install smooth.
He also has really good prices.
The site is broken down to seperate male and female housings.
Dont let it confuse you, if you think about it, it works well enough.
You can put up to 2 wires on a pin if need be.
I made an edit on my earlier post
Other than that, pinballlife.com also has connectors and pins.
Have that same crimper, it’s fantastic. Highly recommend it.
You just reminded me I need to order more connectors.
Quoted from pinballinreno:I refuse to break my back working upside down, and splooging solder all over the game.
I molex everything and pull out complete assemblies to work on them at my bench with proper tools and lighting.
Its easier and i do a better job.
I molexed my 7 switch escape target assembly on my DW !
It took 3 connectors lol.
You my friend are an inspiration. My back is clapping reading this post lol. I gotta stop being lazy and do the same for my older games. I actually enjoy crimping, dare I say it’s pretty fun.
Quoted from Digduglus:OK so I have no idea what a crimper is or how to do it? More than happy to learn though!
Quoted from pinballinreno:Get the crimper i listed and some pins and connectors from GPE that i listed and do it!
Its fun and easy once you have done one or 2.
You will never look back. Lol
I love the ratchet crimper. It holds the pins so you can easily install the wires.
Exactly what he said. I also watched a couple videos on YouTube, this was one of them. Similar crimper to the one we recommended. I did my first one perfectly. Just go slow and double check.
Quoted from Soulrider911:Well Indy fans this is something I have wanted to do for a long time. I present to you the notorious, the rare, the holy grail of IJ's only 1/24 the size. The Disneyland IJ Miniature; complete with mahogany trim, baboo legs, and it even has rope. [quoted image][quoted image]
Well done!
Quoted from Ricochet:Shooting for having the mode hole deflector ready by the end of next week (fingers crossed). If the demand is there... I will have it available for sale on my pinside shop "Pin-Ups". There is another solution out there that just popped up today (spacers to drop the saucer and hardware)... seems like a good solution as well.
I will provide installation instructions and I will post a video of my solution in action once I get it finalized. PM me if you are interested... so I can get an idea of the initial quantity that I will need to get fabbed. Again, IF I get a decent amount of interest... I will stock it, if not then I will just sell them one-zee two-zee. I will also be selling some other items in the near future... simple stuff to make your game play better or easier to customize.
Thanks for being a part of this project... all your comments and help were very valuable.
Jim
Please add me to the list, thanks!
Quoted from Davi:Maybe in 2021.
Few more means: minimum 40 pieces, as we are talking about screen printing process. Real paint, stencils, old school manual process, like in case of the backbox warning text, but with more colors.
You can add me to the list for that.
Quoted from Davi:Well, here is my one time offer:
Once I will have an order from US for a set, I am going to add an extra apron wireform for free for you.
All we need is a good-hearted pinhead who is willing to forward that apron fence to you.
With this way the family can enjoy this pin earlier.
Outstanding.
Quoted from PiperPinball:Legs done! And Invisaglass installed!
Modding finally complete!
[quoted image][quoted image]
So awesome. Any pics of the sides? I’m assuming it’s painted to match the Disney version?
Quoted from PiperPinball:[quoted image]
Good lord man, you did an amazing job on it. Definitely should be the last pin you ever sell. Gorgeous.
