I'll check mine tomorrow. On another note, I recently purchased mine with the tip of a fellow Pinsider and I want to post my experience but I need to finish my restore before presenting it. One thing i'm having trouble is finding a set of new gold legs. Do any fellow Indy owners here know where I can procure a set?

Thanks

Man that is a tiny pic. Can you post up a bigger one?

Quoted from RDReynolds:

Funny you say that, as there's a similar issue on Avengers. The H drop target in Hulk can sometimes pop back up too fast and the ball pops back into the saucer in front of it. It will cycle over and over again until you either time a nudge or you get lucky and it pops out of the cycle.
Code literally needs to just hold the drop target for one second more before kicking back up. Stern has known of the issue for over a year, hasn't fixed it.

I fixed this by adding a screw on top of the post that the ramp sits on right by there. If you look at the post, there is a threaded hole in the top with nothing in it. After I put a screw there, it never happened again.

Quoted from Dellamarmalade:

Having an issue with my idol. Sometimes when the idol is supposed to turn and release the balls the idol head doesn't turn at all. But if I bang the right side of the cabinet it will turn and work properly. Could it just be dirty and sticky inside, anyone have any thoughts ?

I would clean the optos and the plastics in front of the optos, and then lift the playfield and look for loose wires on the idol motor, especially since it turns when you bang the cabinet.

I worked on a board similar to this once before and you see those copper windings? I would resolder the thru holes on those, as well as the pins on the connectors, and see if your condition changes.

Finally ordered my colordmd for Indy. Now I have to get one for Simpsons.

If I wanted to get a new trough, any recommendations? I'm about to try and find out why my Indy gets confused on multiball. I'm replacing the idol optos tomorrow.

Quoted from RDReynolds:

Definitely try the plastic piece first. I bought a second trough and didn't need it.

Will do. Just ordered one to give it a shot.

Using drop dead foam and removing the back plate pretty much resolved the bounce out issue on Indy for me. Sound advice for anyone wanting to resolve this issue.

Quoted from lanfeust:

Hi, I am the new owner of an IJ that was still service in a bar few months ago.
It's not in bad shape, playfield is nice and cabinet not faded, but has few scratches...
I intend to brass the wires ramp because they need it!
As I also need a new set of legs, I was wondering if I take them gold with new gold side rail and lock bar, or leave it silver?
What do you think of it?

Need more pics to judge condition.
