This is cool. How big it is?

Quoted from Davi:

I’ll measure it when I get home but it’s about 1 or 2 inches or so. I will use double sided tape and put it on the clear insert in the left rear corner just before the POA. I will add some moss and a spot light that will light up during the Idol mod or during the entire game. Not sure yet

Alright I am having a issue with my diverter on the right ramp. Installed a new coil that was cooked and my tech guy checked the transistor that activated it and said it was good too, but clearly it can't be because the coil is getting super hot again. Could someone take a picture of the coil for me? I think something mechanically is wrong too, but I need a good picture to figured it out. Thanks!

Sorry I don’t have a pic of that area. My machine is being restored I’m still putting it back together

First what I see on the picture above is that the wiring at the coil is ok.

Here's all the mechanic of the diverter assembly - hope it helps?
Take a closer look to the two screws, they have to be fixed with glue.
And take care that the pivot doesn't collide to the plastic or ramp and don't use lubricant anywhere!

Hi Guys,

A friend of mine has an issue with the mini playfield. The ball never drops on the right side, always on the left... so he is enable to pass on the first switch on the right side.
And when the ball pass on the left side, it seems that the mini playfield dos not go deep enought down on the left and the ball systematicly drops on the first hole...so in play, we never cross the all mini playfield, we always lost the ball quickly...
There nothing that block the mini playfield and we tested the motor which looks fine... so if you have any suggestiosns, they are welcome, thanks.

#2965 6 years ago

Averell what kind of target sticker do you have on that?

Why must they be fixed with glue? I can still go back and add glue if really necessary

My experience has been if the set screw which locks the mini playfield onto the motor shaft becomes a little loose then the mini playfield does not tilt fully and I have had some of the problems you described.
With regard to the ball constantly dropping to one side I have found it beneficial to loosen the set screw and make sure the mini play field is pushed gently forward towards the front of the pinball machine then tighten the set screw very firmly. Also do not be afraid to "slightly" bend the little tabs that the ball passes between as it drops from the hold position on to the mini playfield. With a little testing you can find a happy spot so the ball can be directed to either side.

#2968 6 years ago

Target sticker is custom made and plotted.
Screws have to be glued according to the manual.

#2969 6 years ago

thanks freegame450.
We checked the screw which was a little loose, we push the mini playfield and tighen the screw.
It's a little bite better on the left side, but on the right side there is no improvment, I mean, the red plastic drives directly the ball to the first hole. Looks like the M.P does not lean enought on the right side, so I am wondering if the motor is strengh enought... maybe it's time to change it.

#2970 6 years ago

Lanfeust - I doubt its a motor strength issue. Make sure you have the flat washer on the shaft - refer to the manual, page 2-37. It sits between the playfield and E clip.

It takes some playing around to get the playfield set correctly. Make sure the screw to the motor shaft is not going back into an old hole - especially if people have been playing with this for some time. Also check to make sure everything moves freely before tightening the screw to the motor shaft - you want to make sure something is not binding.

There has been lots of discussion on this string about getting the playfield to move correctly - I'm sure the answer for your problem is in one of these posts. Good Luck

Now working on the fighter plane! Still not done painting and the wings still need to be attached, but the spinning prop is looking good! I used a black prop and painted the tips yellow. I painted the plane in two tones of green like the plane in the movie.

This one was much more difficult than the Bi-plane since there’s very little room to work with. Wasn’t really sure how it would turn out so this was just my “test” plane. I’ll finish this one and then work on my final plane next!

Thanks! It's model. I found it thanks to Lior who provided the link for it a while back. I would provide it, but I can't find it at the moment. The plane will also accommodate the original board and wiring. I'll post pics later

Almost done with it. I added a cone-shaped nose to the propeller for a more realistic look. The board is currently installed on my keeper plane but here's a picture of how I installed it and how the wires are concealed.

Yes, I know the brakcet that holds the plane goes on the inside but there is very little room to work with. I guess It could be installed on the inside but I just don’t see the need. Plus, it really doesn’t matter as long as it holds the plane and you can’t really see it when playing the game. Keeper plane is also getting a spinning prop and paint job!

If you bought it a couple months ago you have the original one. Make sure your firmware is up to date; the new board has a couple of new things but it generally works the same as the new one, no need to uograde

I have to receive 6 more panels. The supply is very slow, this is not his main profile... Once I have a confirmation about estimated time of arrival, I will contact all of you about a small deposit.
I hope you guys can wait, it makes sense to do it at once and send as one package.
