Lior is almost done with the Idol mod. Click the link below to check it out. I think it looks awesome! He will be taking pre-orders soon.

You have to be very careful with the screws of the Apron bow and the screws that fix the Apron to the metal blades!
Often the cage nuts brake apart of the clamps and then you get in trouble to disassemble the Apron without damaging the surface of the playfield.
I went to a welding specialist to reinforce the cage nuts!

#2253 6 years ago
Quoted from KornFreak28:

Apron powder coated. Brand new decals installed. Will leave the protective film on until it goes back in the game. Brass wire form installed.

I had my apron powder coated as well. I went gold. Also new decals. Work done by Robertstone0407

Question, factory default are Indy's legs stainless steel or black?

Quoted from EricHadley:

Stainless steel.

My friend has a broken idol lock assembly. I am working on replacement. Material is translucent orange plastic, based on original.
Is there a demand here?

Not stainless, or black, but have a golden brass look on what I think are original factory legs. The leg bolts have that brass color too.

Mine was stock that way too. Closer to a stainless than a gold, but definitely had a bronzy hue to it.

Back in the club for the third time.

It took a 36 hour drive to bring this Indy home. It's the nicest Indy I've ever seen with an excellent clearcoated playfield. New everything topside with leds and Pinsound board already installed.

Super stoked. This one isn't going anywhere!

Seems like stainless would be right, Williams always did stainless trim right? Anyone powder coat theirs in a metallic orange? I'm not a fan of the golds and bronze's.....Orange is such a predominate color in the game I would think a metallic orange trim would L@@K nice

It'll look like a pumpkin. Great for Halloween. Not so good for the rest of the year.

#2262 6 years ago

Indy's legs have been made of stainless stell and galvanized with golden Surface, the screws as well.

Davi

it's a great idea to rebuild the Idol Lock Assembly, because most of them are in bad condition or already broken, go ahead.

(Except the purple at the back, far from the theme.)

Prototype looks very good - great Job.
I don't know but I really believe this spare won't sold anywhere.

(out of stock everywhere I look)

Sorry. I've got to stick with my original opinion. Doesn't work for me at all.

Nice!!! I don't "need" one but I would take one now that my machine is being put back together. Price?

Quoted from tonycip:

I have a door lock. If you need, I can try to create one for you.

#2271 6 years ago

Door lock is out of stock in Germany, too.

That seems to be what most people need.

Definitely make a few door locks if you can.
They have been out of stock for awhile.

#2274 6 years ago

I have a NOS original. It looks like black nickle naybe?

#2281 6 years ago

I prefer galvanized in black Chrom... vintage look.
Between gun and decal I placed a selfmade protector to prevent that the gun sticks to the decal and damage it if the gun must be removed concerning a faulty switch.

Original is just a paint. Powdercoat will last for ever and won't rust or flake

I will be back within few days. The raw material is on the way.
Price? No idea. Will be cheap, cheaper than shipment cost.

There are few different ones out there @KornFreak28. These ones are pretty good very theme accurate:

This is nice - alone. The design is not adjusted to the shape of playfield elements, like ruins, mini pf...

#2300 6 years ago

I like those from Averel better. Fit the theme better. The grass on the tilt ones is to realistic.
