Quoted from lukerp:Anything I should know about it, as I've only ever played it to try it out this morning?
You'll want to make sure the POA works and that you can get the ball to roll down the left and right top lanes. I have problems where I bend the tab so it will go left, but then it always go left, or vice versa. You have to bend the metal tabs to get it just right. I ended up putting some drop dead foam on the left tab to help send the ball to the right, but sometimes it goes right even with the poa tilted left.
Other thing is make sure balls always stick in the mode start scoop. Common solution is to lift the pf and insert washers between the plastic scoop and the pf, plus adding drop dead foam (or felt) to the deflector plate and to the left of of the plate (some even remote the deflector plate but that didn't work for me). My right flipper coil is also one step below factory, it's the 15411 (orange). Takes enough mustard off the ball to prevent bounce outs. I almost never have a bounce out, maybe 1 in a 100 or less. No problem making the left ramp or left orbit.
One other thing I fixed just this last week was the drop target would sometimes not drop and then I would get a switch error on the drop target. Turns out the actuator arm of the switch sometimes gets caught on the underside of the plate that drops, so I had to bend the arm. Works like a champ now.
