We're excited to announce that we are creating the official IFPA Women's Pinball Championship, to be held in conjunction with the IFPA US National Pinball Championship out in Las Vegas on March 17th, 2016.

The IFPA plans on inviting the top 16 ranked women from around the world to battle it out in a best-of-7 single elimination format to crown the IFPA Women's Pinball Champion. Similar to the qualifying process used for the IFPA World Pinball Championship we will use the rankings as of January 1, 2016 to determine the qualifiers. Full details of the event including schedule, entry fee, prizes, etc. will be available soon.

For those women that do not find themselves on the ranking, please contact the IFPA and we will update your profile.

Cool initiative.

Any chance the comp could be run in conjunction with PAPA and IFPA in Pittsburgh? Then it's a one stop shop for international competitors.

13/16 are from the States, one from Canada and two from much further away. Long way to go (and $$$) to Vegas then back to the States 4 weeks later for PAPA/IFPA.

Just a suggestion.

I'm pretty sure there's a large women's tournament that's already run at the PHOF at the same time this one is, so if that is still happening this upcoming year then I think it makes more sense to have this new event with that one versus with PAPA/IFPA worlds.

That women's tournament isn't happening then, and this is something we're adding to the Nationals/Pin-Masters weekend for the foreseeable future so it will be tied to where that is held.

Vegas for 2016. Texas for 2017.
