The added fee will just add even more corruption to the system by those event organizers who value points over event integrity. Will be interesting to watch 2018 unfold if the fee is implemented.

Quoted from chuckwurt:

I would like the requirements for playing in a SCS to increase to 5 events instead of 2 so that it will consist of more local players that play regularly in that state.

Very good suggestion. What good is a SCS when it contains out of state competitors?

Quoted from LOTR_breath:

Metallik, I appreciate what you are doing, but the mods said keep it on topic. The $1/event has been discussed adnauseum so I have nothing else to post here.

Everytime someone bangs glass or excessively slides a game pay the TD a $ to send to IFPA. Then boot them from the tourney for abuse.

Quoted from TheLaw:

Man you're rating would plummet.

Who actually cares about rating? It is irrelevant to one's ability.

Quoted from Joe_Blasi:

I can see giving up free events but making charity events pay just LOOKS REAL BAD.

Simple way around those problems is to include charity events in the SCS qualifying if choose to contribute to the pot. Make it the event organizers choice to participate or not, problem solved.

Quoted from ifpapinball:

Perception is a powerful thing

I expect a huge shake up in standings for Michigan in 2018 due to the 20 event rule. Many thanks for implementing it.
