I'll take a Van Halen pin!

    #52 11 years ago
    Quoted from kwiKimart:

Let's start with one that EVERYONE wants, and that is Pink Floyd. At least most of the songs would be from the Wall or Dark Side of the Moon which would be easy, but I think Wish You Were Here would make a nice victory multiball jam. Also, Shine on you Crazy Diamond would be cool for maybe a crazy diamond toy, but I wouldn't do it.

Shine on you crazy diamond is great pinball music. I love playing to it in loud meets.

The Cult for me hands down.

    She Sells Sanctuary
    The Rain
    The Phoenix
    Love Removal Machine
    Lil Devil
    Wild Flower
    Fire Woman
    Rise

If you like rock and don't know about these guys, do yourself a favor and check them out. Amazing catalog of music spanning over 25 years.

    Quoted from Frax:

My wife wants a Coldplay pin..
Personally, I think it would come out looking as fruity or moreso than Farfalla, lol.

Could be worse. Could be a Hootie and the Blowfish game.

Right Now for the multiball restart music.

    #57 11 years ago

Metallica would be awesome as a pin!!

    #58 11 years ago

    Led Zepp:
    Immigrant Song (spinner/loop shots)
    Black Dog (Ramp/combo flow shots)
Out of the Tiles (drop target and/or standup shots all over PF)
Rock and Roll (drop targets to open VUK shot, two different sets to starts three ball multiball)
Your Time is Gonna Come (pop bumper hits, similar to Superjets on AFM to increase shot multiplier)
Communication Breakdown (ramp/loop shots that are random for each play, hitting five starts four ball multiball)
Ramble On (instant two ball multiball with alternating selected shots that has a ball saver implemented every time a shot is made, ultimately emphasizing ball control and shot selection)
Stairway to Heaven (Obvious Wizard mode, similar to TSPP Alien Invasion with add-a-ball multiball up to five balls)

And I would set it up to be like a live convert that has crowd noise/cheers grow the longer a ball is in play while earning a higher a multiplier (since most songs would be from live recordings that have much better atmosphere), the overall total score/mode progression is increased, and/or how many combo shots are achieved (and going ape-chit crazy during multiballs)!

Here is a video of THE CULT! Good Stuff

Led Zep, The Cult, Metallica and how about The Angels?!

    Mr. Damage
    Straight Jacket
    Comin' Down
    Shadow Boxer
    No Secrets
    Devil's Gate
    I Ain't The One
    Eat City

    Fashion And Fame
    Night Attack
Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again

    Die Antwoord...best band.........ever.

    #68 11 years ago
    Quoted from Tommi_Gunn:

i'm ok with random songs, but a whole collection of one bands greatest hits is a different story.

single band pins ruin the band imo. all your great music memories/experiences as a kid and young adult listening to that band will be wipped away. It get's replaced embedded with pinball from here on out. pinball amnesia. hard to reprogram that and get it out of your head.

I know people think their gold and I respect that. but, it definitely changes the way you relate to the band. It's never the same anymore.

    This needs to be repeated.

    *buys Tommi a virtual pint*

Had heard about the glorious Mr. Bungle before, but just recently discovered them for myself. Had I known Mike Patton (lead singer of Faith No More) was in it, I would have listened to them sooner. A Mr. Bungle pin would kick so much ass!

no Weenie Beenie?!?!?! I would take that and Oh, George over some of their more popular songs. Let's toss Learn to Fly and Times Like These, and substitue White Limo for Big Me.

    #86 11 years ago

    Alice In Chains
    Metallica pre Black album
    Pink Floyd

    #87 11 years ago

    PANTERA!

    Cowboys from Hell
Cemetary Gates (wizard mode with tribute to Dime when completed) also the "bash toy"
    Mouth for War
    Walk
    Phucking Hostile
    Strength Beyond Strength
    I'm Broken
    Floods
You've go to belong to it
    hellbound
    Goddamn Electric
    Death Rattle

    10-15 other honorable mentions.

Needs the album cover from vulgar display as a video mode. It would totally ripoff CFTBL but read this story and tell me it doesn't deserve to be there. From wikipedia:

"The band told their label that they wanted something vulgar, like a dude getting punched.[14] The first version of the cover that the label brought to the band showed a boxer with a punching glove, but the band did not like it so the label did a second version showing a man being punched.[14] According to Vinnie Paul, the man on the cover was paid $10 a punch and was hit in the face 30 times to get the right picture.[14] Brad Guice stated that the man on the cover, who was named Sean Cross, was never actually hit.[14]"

    Don't forget Run Like Hell...

    #91 10 years ago

I don't think a 'Dead Kennedys' pin would be family friendly, but would like to see:

    Rush
    Pink Floyd
    Led Zeppelin
    Jethro Tull
    Jimi Hendrix
Sex Pistols (also not family friendly, but...it's my wish)

    and

Supertramp. Just because I'd buy it.

Now that is one I can get behind!

I had a quote but my filter kicked in, lol.

    Quoted from Jackontherocks:

I would like to see them do a Monsters of Rock with multiple bands from the 80’s that toured together , or Ozzfest, or Wacken Festival concert line up, or something that includes a bunch of the top heavy metal/rocks bands in one game. I remember listening to an interview with Lemmy wanting them to do a Motorhead pinball game one day. On a side note I do wnat a PF game at all.

    +1

    #94 10 years ago

I would second a Rush machine.

    Another would be Van Halen:

    1. Runnin with the devil
    2. Eruption
    3. Everybody wants some
    4. Panama
    5. Hot for Teacher
    6. Source of Infection
    7. Poundcake
    8. Seventh Seal

Not sure what the toys would be...a devil? A volcano erupting? But Hot For Teacher video mode would be awesome.

Other possibilities: Styx, Def Leppard, Blue Oyster Cult, Journey, W.A.S.P., Judas Priest, ZZ Top, Journey...

    Johnny Cash Pinball

    Man in Black on Backglass

Table has 2 levels (like AC DC premium) row of right (I walk the line) and left (Man in Black) targets ramp with tunnel to Train. Different targets set 3 different train modes (Folsom Prison, Orange Blossom, John Henry). Ramp to "lower playfield" Ring of Fire. Targets for Timer Modes where you have to hit Right (five feet high and rising) or left (25 seconds to go) in certain time limits. If all modes complete wizard mode is activated (One Piece at a time) and then if all complete a second time wizard mode special song is played (I've been everywhere).

1 & 2. Background music alternate between: Tennessee Flat Top Box and Jackson
3, 4, & 5. Train target (ramp?) on table, but shooting it has different modes / songs: Folsom Prison Blues / Orange Blossom Special / John Henry's Hammer
6 & 7. Line of targets Right vs Left: I Walk the Line / Man in Black
8 & 9. Timer modes: Five Feet High and Rising / 25 Seconds to Go (Timer mode song is modification of song 25 Minutes to Go)
    10. Ring of Fire (second playfield under main playfield like AC/DC Premium)
11 & 12. Wizard Modes: One Piece at a Time (Wizard Mode Activated) / I've Been Everywhere (Success at Wizard Mode)
    13. Cry, Cry, Cry (loose ball, don't complete started mode of game)
