The location of the refreshment concessions aside...arcades typically won't maintain the machines that really bring out the best in them. I'd love to have an arcade close by just to play whatever I didn't have at home.
If ones tastes and familiarity with the home machine changes, and one finds themselves sneaking out to play with another on the side, you can simply rotate another into the house. Fortunately, pinballs are not like spouses in many respects - an important one being that you can have more than one pinball. I'll cease making any more comparisons in case my (loving adorable) wife happens upon this (pinballs aren't jealous either).
