Through all the years that pinball has been around there has been quite a huge variety off machine themes. Practically every aspect of pop culture and entertainment has been covered. The idea of this thread is to come up with some of the most creative, funny, and coolest themes. Thumbs up to people with the best ideas!

Are you talking about an original theme? If not, there have been countless threads that have already explored this topic.

I'd make a Pinball themed pinball machine

I think a Christmas theme would be awesome. Of course, Zelda too!

I would make an everything pinball that's based off everything

I would pick Stern VS JJP you could pick sides and modes would try and kill the other company

North By Northwest would be an amazing theme for a pinball game! Since movies are a classic staple of the hobby it's surprising that there has never been a game featuring a film from arguably the greatest director in history.

There are a ton of great Hitchcock works to choose from, but North By Northwest has everything: beautiful art, music by Bernard Herrmann, humor, romance, suspense, a variety of geographic locations, typical cameo appearance etc. These could all be incorporated seamlessly into a pinball theme by a talented designer with imagination. For example, there could be a train running along the perimeter of the game, a mini Mount Rushmore as a centerpiece, a model of the United Nations in one corner and a cornfield with a crop duster somewhere else. The possibilities would be huge.

Try to take over the world!!!!!! Pretty much like the board game risk would be cool. Attacking other countries and defending your land. Sounds like a fun pin

Moab Utah, Canyonlands. Love that place!

I'm trying to think of what the exact opposite of Dialed In would be? Something old school before cell phones with 80s music. Maybe a throwback machine like Whoe Nellie only based on an 80s playfield and digital numeric displays. The theme could be Stranger Things or a similar original scary movie theme.

How bout one about the Amish?

It would be based on the Jeep Safari!

Hmm... since someone's already doing Alien and attempted Predator (in the loosest possible definition of the term), I'd like to see a machine incorporating some other things i enjoy. How about:

Jason Voorhees and Ash Williams are thawed out in the Warhammer 40k future and team up, using Space Marine armor and weapons, to battle newly-awakened Lovecraftian gods and monsters.

    I'm looking at you, Spooky

The Wild West. Or trains. Or both in the same package!

    #22 2 years ago

How about a David Chapelle pinball!
He could tell you you suck in a funnier way I think.

Someone earlier brought up Jason Vorhees. I am really surprised there are not a lot of pinball machines based on horror movies like Friday the 13th, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, etc.

I've mentioned this many times before, but I would totally dig a Megadeth theme. Imagine the art work possibilities with Vic Rattlehead.

I'm sure this has been beat to death but take my money (lots of it) if this ever happened.

I'm still holding out hope for a Battlestar Galactica. The real question: The 70's original series, or the 2003 series. I loved them both.

Metallica > Megadeth. Same goes to if Megadeth had a machine.

A Rube Goldberg pin could be a blast to make.
Neverending story would also be cool.

Andy Griffith. You could lock Otis in the cell for lock 1. Lock Floyd in the other cell for lock two. On the third lock you start 'Nip It In The Bud' multiball.
