    Quoted from kaneda:

Is there anything you do like? You hate everything.

He said he loves cars and car movies... Kaneda gotta kaneda...

If it's gonna be Vin Diesel, at least make it Riddick.

    Quoted from kaneda:

The fact that fast n furious is being compared to rednecks just shows how out of touch so many people are...it's as mainstream as it gets people.

Only dead fish swim with the current. If that's "mainstream", no thanks.

    Quoted from kaneda:

I think you are right on WWE and Mustang. But you'd be surprised by Fast and Furious. It's grossing almost as much now as Avengers.

    And the Avengers pin blows...

Stern cares primarily about units sold, not so much about how well they do on location. That's why nearly all games are licensed, to sell units. Sure, they want more people into pinball, that means more units sold. And if you think pro models are designed for on location play and operators in mind... To a point yes, but have you ever seen under the hood of a pro model? They are definitely not designed with servicing in mind. Those nice rails under the playfield are on the premium/le pins... Machines that typically go into the collector market. Pins in the collector market don't get serviced anywhere near as frequently as pins on route. Design features like that and "bulletproofing" features should be standard on the machines intended for location play, after all those machines take a lot of abuse.

Theme on location means Jack Shit. 98% of the time you can't hear the pin thanks to the other machines being played, juke box being blasted, sports game going on, or drunk assholes yelling to each other.

I keep hearing the next machine released will be a vault... Which one? Not sure.

    Quoted from Spencer:

Of coarse it does, it draws you in. Sure gameplay does as well but to non pinheads, put 2 games side by side or three or four, whatever and they would pick there favorite theme.
People do it in my basement! Of coarse they do it on location.

Maybe for the single game player. But people who enjoy pinball frequently will play the best playing game regardless of theme. And people who play frequently are the ones who determine which machines are earners and which machines aren't.
