Quoted from Hazoff:Slayer. The artwork and imagery, speed of the songs is fantastic for a pinball machine. I know its too dark for most of you and the chances are next to zero but I can dream.
Needs more cow skull.

Quoted from KingNine:I really think Stern could come up with a generic music themed pin more like a juke box.
Just DIY:

Quoted from KingNine:They've been making band theme games from decades ago.
There. Fixed it for ya!
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Now I know you are just reaching here but nobody should be talking Billboard rankings these days, especially when trying to compare them with "the old days."
I guarantee you "Eliminator" sold about 10 times what Futura did in it's first first week regardless of where it was ranked. Maybe 20. Soundscan rankings are pretty irrelevant these days. Selling 2,000 copies of something can get you in the top 200, 30 years ago that would have been a joke.
Dude, you a hater?
We get your point by now
The best time to do a ZZ Top pin has passed, but a properly done done ZZ Top pin which features hot rods and beautiful women on it would still appeal to the base demographic that buys pins and could be a good earner in locations like bars. There's a lot of humor in their songs (beer drinkers and hell raisers, pearl necklace, tube snake boogie) which could translate well into a pin.
Oh, and I've seen the band 4 times over a 30 year span and while they aren't the same live band they used to be (what band that's been around for over 30 years is) I still love their music.
Bump, 5 years later - this needs to be done, come on Stern! If a band I've never heard of (Rush) gets a pin surely these guys can!
They are so underrated. $50 million is a joke. Toto's drummer got $30 million all by himself. They got screwed. I'd love to see a pin, but I'm not sure it would be a big seller.

Get a William's Getaway and install a PinSound board. There are some Pinsound mixes that play several ZZ Top sounds.
Quoted from jazzmaster:OMG!!!! Could there be a more boring band?!!? I don't mean to rag on RUSH and I know their fans are rabid as hell (there truly is no accounting for taste) but some of these ideas people throw out for music pins are just ridiculous. What would the main toy be? A 7000 piece drum kit?
