Don't know how I didn't think of this one before, but "Soul Eater".
Even if people hadn't seen the series, the designs from the animated version would be quite visually catching.

Attack on Titan. It's new but it'll be around for a while and it's just huge over there. The art would look awesome, it's a bit manlier than many Anime and the modes would be easy to build. I'd love to see a wall fall down to start the Titan multiball.
For modern I'd vote Attack on Titan, World Conquest Zvezda Plot, or Durarara. For older I'd definitely say Akira, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo. I'd be down with any Miyazaki theme (minus Ponyo) as well for more kid friendly themes.
Quoted from girloveswaffles:+1 on Trigun.
But I put my vote out for One Piece!
+1 for one Piece,
Other pick would be Samurai Champloo
Quoted from Luckydogg420:Dragon ball seems like the best pin idea. But my pick is.
Fist of the North Star.
I was wrong, since then I've watched Akira, I change my vote.

Quoted from pinballrebel:Star blazers or Battle of the Planets
Oh yeah! Space Battleship Yamato all the way.
All of these suggestions are better than what Stern has been pushing lately.
I'll go with a pin with Studio Ghibli art.
G-FORCE! Battle of the Planets!
Five different LE's!?!
... or Force Five!
Five more different LE's!?!
I say La Blue Girl.
I also see where some of them would really fit with different modes almost like that was thought of when they made the anime..
I saw a couple of them listed that i'm going to have to find..Being the pervert that i am...
Just a couple more for consideration.
It was just a short segment in the Kill Bill movie (or maybe KB2) where O-Ren Ishii was a child. Very stylish. Not family friendly though.
Naruto or Naruto Shippuden. Plenty of material here. Shadow Clone Jutsu multiball.
Kill La Kill. Relatively new and still pretty incomprehensible. But you have to love anime babes with big swords.
Witchblade. Not widely known, but very stylish. Based on the short lived TV series.
Howl's Moving Castle. Lots of very stylish artwork and characters.
Wolf's Rain. Try to get to the next life.
Gungrave. Guns a blazin'.
Samurai Shampoo. Three characters that are not what they seem to be.
Witch Hunter Robin. Burn the witches.
Eureka 7. Ride the Trappar, Join the GekkoState. Pilot the Nirvash TypeZero. Rescue Eureka.
Ok, that was more than a couple.

How has Bubblegum Crisis not already been mentioned!
one of the best ever
hot chicks in robot suits, boomer bash toy, and kickass 80s rock soundtrack
Quoted from crazyerk:Dragon Ball Z! The goal would be to collect all 7 dragon balls, which of course would result in a crazy multi-ball. You could fight Raditz, Vegita, the Ginyu Force, Freeza, etc., and you could work to achieve Super Sayin (which would make the cabinet go crazy with a super light show). Could be an awesome pin!!
You want to get younger people into pinball, then this is the key. Love this idea!
Quoted from Evan55:How has Bubblegum Crisis not already been mentioned!
because it was mentioned on page 1 by me! (and none of this 2040 bullshit either!). BGC would make an awesome pin.
