Don't know how I didn't think of this one before, but "Soul Eater".
Even if people hadn't seen the series, the designs from the animated version would be quite visually catching.

K-ON! It's family friendly and has some great music!!

Lupin would be a hilarious and fun pin - but my first fave was Star Blazers

    #105 10 years ago

A recent one that would make a great pin: Magi - The Labyrinth of Magic

    #106 10 years ago

I would vote for Queen's Blade. Hot anime babes in medieval armor!

    image.jpgimage.jpg
    #107 10 years ago

Star blazers or Battle of the Planets

    Thundercats.

    Oshikuru: Demon Samurai

    : D

    #111 10 years ago

Dragon ball seems like the best pin idea. But my pick is.

    Fist of the North Star.

    #112 10 years ago

    Akira hands down..

    #113 10 years ago

Attack on Titan. It's new but it'll be around for a while and it's just huge over there. The art would look awesome, it's a bit manlier than many Anime and the modes would be easy to build. I'd love to see a wall fall down to start the Titan multiball.

    #114 10 years ago

    Samurai Champloo would be sweet.

    #115 10 years ago

    Soul Eater without a doubt

    #116 10 years ago

Speed Racer and Force Five would be my choices.

    #117 10 years ago

For modern I'd vote Attack on Titan, World Conquest Zvezda Plot, or Durarara. For older I'd definitely say Akira, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo. I'd be down with any Miyazaki theme (minus Ponyo) as well for more kid friendly themes.

    Rosario + Vampire

    Maybe "Attack on Titan"?

    #121 9 years ago

I like the black and white 8th Man!

    #122 9 years ago
    Quoted from girloveswaffles:

    +1 on Trigun.
But I put my vote out for One Piece!

    +1 for one Piece,

Other pick would be Samurai Champloo

    #123 9 years ago

... and for those of you that want a Zombi pin, High School of the Dead.

    Fist of the North Star.

I was wrong, since then I've watched Akira, I change my vote.

All of these suggestions are better than what Stern has been pushing lately.

I'll go with a pin with Studio Ghibli art.

    #134 9 years ago

Overfiend cool devices ghost in the shell Akira list goes on

    #135 9 years ago

    G-FORCE! Battle of the Planets!

    Five different LE's!?!

    ... or Force Five!

    Five more different LE's!?!

    #136 9 years ago

This will be the minority but I have to say it cause I love it. Sailor Moon!

    #137 9 years ago

Ninja Scroll, maybe Fist of the North Star.
    I have the perfect backglass.

    Afro Samurai.

    #139 9 years ago

    Cowboy Bebop all the way.

Although Akira would work... the Tetsuo bonus could keep growing.

    #140 9 years ago

    I say La Blue Girl.
I also see where some of them would really fit with different modes almost like that was thought of when they made the anime..

I saw a couple of them listed that i'm going to have to find..Being the pervert that i am...

Has anyone said Attack on Titan? Just thought I'd throw that out (again).

    #142 8 years ago

Just a couple more for consideration.

It was just a short segment in the Kill Bill movie (or maybe KB2) where O-Ren Ishii was a child. Very stylish. Not family friendly though.

Naruto or Naruto Shippuden. Plenty of material here. Shadow Clone Jutsu multiball.

Kill La Kill. Relatively new and still pretty incomprehensible. But you have to love anime babes with big swords.

Witchblade. Not widely known, but very stylish. Based on the short lived TV series.

Howl's Moving Castle. Lots of very stylish artwork and characters.

Wolf's Rain. Try to get to the next life.

    Gungrave. Guns a blazin'.

Samurai Shampoo. Three characters that are not what they seem to be.

Witch Hunter Robin. Burn the witches.

Eureka 7. Ride the Trappar, Join the GekkoState. Pilot the Nirvash TypeZero. Rescue Eureka.

Ok, that was more than a couple.

How has Bubblegum Crisis not already been mentioned!

    one of the best ever

hot chicks in robot suits, boomer bash toy, and kickass 80s rock soundtrack

    #144 8 years ago
    Quoted from crazyerk:

Dragon Ball Z! The goal would be to collect all 7 dragon balls, which of course would result in a crazy multi-ball. You could fight Raditz, Vegita, the Ginyu Force, Freeza, etc., and you could work to achieve Super Sayin (which would make the cabinet go crazy with a super light show). Could be an awesome pin!!

You want to get younger people into pinball, then this is the key. Love this idea!

    #145 8 years ago

    its gotta be Cowboy Bebop

    #146 8 years ago

Fang of the Sun Dougram or Macross

Featuring the Blockhead Somewhere on the Playfield. Then Macross with a giant SDF-1 with a ramp for each arm.

    Crazy

because it was mentioned on page 1 by me! (and none of this 2040 bullshit either!). BGC would make an awesome pin.

    #149 8 years ago

Something else action themed: Dirty Pair!

    #150 8 years ago

No love for Death Note? I reckon it'd make a stunning theme for a pin ....
