That connector should be there, it comes before the one hooked to the sound card. I left my sound card connector in my system in case someone wanted to put it back someday, and cut the wires off that I needed, leaving a small piece on the connector for reference. Here is a bad through the coin door pic. That is just a standard 4 pin .093 molex connector I used to hook it up, pulled the power from the knocker (red wire)

Cool, be interested to see/hear what you come up with. That connector should be a standard molex .093, and I think that A7-J1 runs through that so should be fairly straight forward, other than needing different ends on some wires.

The other reason I did mine that way with the extra connector was so I could easily remove just the chime unit if I needed to for any reason.
