Hi,
We just carpeted the basement and pin room! Not super deep pile carpet but probably 5/8 inch non looped style with a decent underlay. Yeah baby! Lol...seriously damaged the future pin fund though.

Hoping that one of you has a great, affordable, easy idea for making some carpet protectors to try and avoid permanent carpet divots in case I can add another machine / move machines around.
I've thought about using wood but that might slide around? Aluminum plate? Hockey pucks? Small squares of left over carpet?

What do you use? Post up a photo please! I'd prefer to make something from easily sourced material.

Thanks for the reply MB , what kind of diam are we talking for your furniture sliders? Round and about 4" diam?

I remember seeing pictures on here way long ago (few years) of some kind of wooden round coasters of sorts but I seem to remember they were a bit spendy, never mind shipping cost to Canada, so that's mainly why I was thinking of making some.

Thanks guys. I thinking that an order of carpet sliders is the ticket. Thanks for the tip Travish with the ice cube, never heard that one before, but I'll def give it a try when needed.
