One of our local pinball spots (hourly, no coin drop) gets a bus load of seniors in from time to time and I get a huge kick out of it. I watched one lady who had to be nearly 80 just jam out on Iron Man for like half an hour. I grabbed the machine next to her after a while just so I could peep her flipper skills. Caught her between games with a huge grin as she told me, "This's one's FAST!"

My wife has done the local women's leagues but I'm still primarily a casual location player. I'm out nearly every week and sometimes even binge a weekend or pincrawl from spot to spot but I haven't made it to any of the local tourneys yet. An ever-changing work schedule doesn't help.

I pester pizza shop guys all the time, "Hey man, I could shove a pinball machine over there between the wall and the Pepsi cooler. You wouldn't mind if I sent my people over here to play pinball? They're fat like me, probably eat you out of house and home." Flirt a little, get 'em to laugh. Ya don't dance if ya don't ask.
