I've got a 1950s backglass that is mostly in pretty nice condition, but it has several areas that need to be restored. They are areas that were intentionally modified by a previous owner. The backglass ink is 90% good as is. I'd like restore the existing backglass, meaning I'd like to keep the original ink but have the mutilated areas returned to their original appearance. Has anyone here had an original backglass that was restored? Scraping 100% of the original ink off the glass and rescreening it is not what I'm after - I just want to repair the modified 10%. If you've had a "partial restoration," do you before and after photos you can share? I'm not looking to do this myself, but hire someone else to do it.
Thanks...
