I don't NEED it, but as with pins, I'm in the honeymoon phase and if there were a source for a new cabinet, I'd be interested in a price before I attempt cleaning up this cabinet. Any ideas? I read the previous 8 pages and nobody mentions price or availability.

Quoted from Chosen_S:No pictures? High price? Pre payment , no deposit?
Coming up from Texas?
Quoted from Kizmitt:So I’m thinking about selling my ICB… can anyone tell me about how much I should be asking for it? I’ll post some pics

I bet you could get 5k for that, looks sweet!
Quoted from Skyemont:I will stick w/ my original for sure..
Yes. This makes me think that some will love the idea of a new game, but plenty of folks will still favor the original. Kinda like the refake pins
I don't get why they put the lights above the target holes, looks "off".
Quoted from pinmister:Who has more info on the new reproduction ICB's being made? I thought I read April 1st somewhere? Also that other company making knock offs-I kinda like the golf version one. Still looking for my $2500-$2700 OG ICB and holding my breath-not sure you can tell but I am blue in the face.
April fool's day??
I'm ready to part with Zeke's Peak.
I'd like to trade for or towards a localish pin.

Quoted from pinmister:With all due respect I think your price is a tad high given the condition of the cabinet, etc.
Did anyone else see the Zeke's Peak in the arcade scene in Stranger Things season 4? Nice!
Yeah, it's a starting point, and I'm really more interested in a trade. Figured ya can't list low and go higher I'd trade it with a 5 k value in mind.

LMAO!
Quoted from GPS:Looking for an ICB. Please let me know if you have one avail
Thank you
I have a Zeke's peak, but I'm over here in NJ
After sitting on this for two months and trying a bunch of trades, I'd take 3400 cash for Zeke's peak with extra mpu board and new belt set. North Jersey.
Quoted from thepinballworks:Wish it was closer to me.
Me too! I don't wanna sell it, but I'd like to send my kids on an expensive class trip this summer, so I could use the cash now.
I'm selling my Zeke's peak right now. I think it's a very cool game, and anytime we have company over, it is played a lot.it looks cool, even when it's off. The only reason I'm selling is because I want a new pin, and can't justify spending more non-pin money right now
Quoted from Royflipper:I hope someone can help me with a pcb board. Or maybe you know someone who can help me with this. I bought an ice cold beer with the cpu missing. Thanks in advance.
I have an extra mpu board with my Zeke's peak. I have never tested it because my installed board is fine. I'd be willing to try it out in the game to confirm it works if you are interested in buying.
My ZP cpu and complete ZP are sold
I'm going to miss it, but time to put something else in that space. Now... What to put in that space ...
Quoted from evh347:Well, the first clip I’ve seen of someone unboxing and playing a brand new ICB remake has surfaced:
For those waiting on ICB remake (like me), the latest update I got two weeks ago was this:
They shipped few dozen machines as part of a ‘controlled release’ to select locations so that they could monitor any issues before full scale release. They have seen some random issues with about half of them. They sent out a tech to personally examine and fix the machines with issues and figure out what is going on. Here is what they have found and what they are doing to correct the problem. They shut down production early July to resolve these issues and pulled about a 100 machines that were ready to ship to fix them before they were sent out.
Issue #1
The playfields are made from the same material that pinball machine playfields are made from and the wood was sent out to a very repitable CNC shop that has done pinball playfields in the past. This company (unspecified) routed the holes per the engineering design and sanded, cleaned and sealed the routed areas.
After receiving the completed playfields, it was discovered that the cleaning process was not done properly and that many of the playfield had very small micro fibers left in the holes that tend to break loose when the machine is being played. This micro fibers were being picked up by the multiple sensors on the back of the machine and were confusing the machine on what to do. This would cause the machine to usually go into shutdown or tilt mode.
Supposedly, they pulled back those playfields (around 425 of them) to have them sanded, cleaned, and re-sealed. Going forward, the playfields will be routed through the CNC shops at MCL/Baytec who is coincidentally also doing their machine assemblies. The expectation was to be back into full production the week of July 10.
Issue #2
It was discovered bending of the slide bar that the ball is controlled on if the ball gets wedged on a corner of one of the holes. They are supposedly implementing two things to correct this. First they are switching to a solid brass inner tube which is much stronger. Second they have adjusted the coding on the stepper motors to basically act as a clutch when they sense any power surges. These steps should eliminate issues with the bar bending.
Note: Late in production, a couple months ago, I learned that they decided to change from a 16mm ball to a 15mm ball.
And finally…
Issue #3
The other big issue was that apparently a number of machines were not surviving the shipping process. Most of the blame has been put on the carriers responsible for shipping the machines. Out of a dozen machines that they shipped, 10 of them were either completely destroyed or severely damaged. If a machine was lucky enough to survive the shipping process, they were at the least discovered to have been out of alignment after they arrived. In consequence, they are developing new packaging of these machines that will include additional strapping to keep the machines from any front to back or side to side movement, as well as additional protection pieces, additional strapping, and potentially crating the machines. They are also considering banning a couple carriers (did not specify which) from shipping these machine. As of today, I don’t know if they actually went ahead with that.
The last I heard was that they expected to have everything resolved and full production back the week of July 10.
July 10, 2024?
Quoted from jcar302:It's worth around $3000 or so is my guess.
If you're patient, it's worth more than that. I sold my Zeke's Peak with a pretty rough cabinet for 3200 about a year ago.
Quoted from melappels:I finaly got my Ice Cold Beer ! But this one is not from Taito but from Taitel ( under licence from Taito )
Looks like this one has a payout system

Wow that's interesting and pretty cool! Never heard of that before.
