Quoted from zerbam:hey Beemus ..........where did you get the new motors from....post a link if you have one please
Yes, where did you find the motors?
So who or where can I get a cabinet. I have a complete zeke’s peak playfield, ICB control panel, and ICB main board. So I could just about piece one together.
Not mine! but seen this on eBay.

Quoted from Wharhed:Well, it looks like I'm partially in the club Anybody have a main wiring harness, and the lower coin box / hardware?
I am glad you got it when you did, as I was going to make an offer and go pick it up.
Quoted from DennisDodel:Just sold my Taito and noticed there are 4 yellow Service Tip pages in loose form with the paperwork for the game. I don't know if these are already posted somewhere but I would be happy to scan them and post here if needed.
Service Tip #84-3, 84-5, 84-6 and 84-7. I assume 84-4 is missing.
I would like a copy. I don't even have a manual for mine.
Quoted from teekee:Contact Paul at VirtuaPin. Not sure if he has them is stock right now but he builds them.

And the linear power supply can be replaced by this:

Thanks for the info.
This not mine, but found it on eBay;

Still Looking for a wiring harness for the Taito version. I am not looking forward to making one up.
Is there anyone that repairs the main board. The one I have has been worked on before, but I see a few problems with it.
Thanks
Quoted from Code_Blue:You don't feel the pronounced lag that it takes the motor to start up and get to normal speed? With the original motors you press the joystick and the motor immediately moves at full speed. The Marco motors you press the joystick and there is both a slight pause and *then* it moves incrementally until reaching full speed. It's easily noticeable if you only replace one motor - one side of the ICB bar will be moving sooner and more quickly than the other.
Is it the motors or the gears that is the difference or is it a little of both?
It’s Alive!!!
My Frankenstein game is alive.
Bit’s and pieces from years of gathering them up.
Old use playfield, control panel, speaker from an old pinball game. Rebuilt used main board.
New cabinet, power supply, and a homemade wiring harness, that looks like a rats nest but works. My first attempt at a wiring harness, and it worked.

Yes
It is a complete playfield, picked it up at a local swap meet 8-10 years ago.
I would like to find a ICB one. Someone was selling them on eBay, but not anymore I guess.
Quoted from jcar302:You can buy a playfield overlay for ICB, or get Zekes art. Szabo has the cpo and side art.
Yes, I was trying not to destroy Zeke’s playfield by doing the overlay. And I haven’t found a Zeke’s glass yet. I have a ICB glass and cpo overlay, and side art already.
I am in no hurry, and maybe an ICB one will show up that is bad and then I will put the overlay on the bad one.
Hello all,
I am down to my last part of trouble shooting on the old ICB playfield.
The one and only coil in it had been worked on many times. At first, the plunger was not reaching the ball, I fixed that, so now that it reaches it, it doesn't have enough strength to push it up. So I then got a new coil to try, and it hits it but not hard enough to send it where it need to go. I have the 24-volts right off the power supply.
So what am I missing? It is an N26-1200 coil and that is what the manual says it needs. Is there a stronger coil I can use?
Quoted from Tigger:Have you looked at this post? https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/ice-cold-beer-icb-owners-thread/page/5#post-5297050
That would probably work if I had the original power supply, but I am using this and I am getting 24 volts on that wire.

Thanks for the suggestion.
So after I looked at the wiring diagram, I should be able to put the capacitor in the plug as I don't have TP's, but TP7 is pin 13 +24v and TP8 is pin 14 -24v
I am going to try adding it to the plug. I just ordered the Caps.
If anyone sees a problem in doing this please let me know.
Today's adventure
The capacitor was added and it took care of the problem.
Made a few adjustments, and added side art, and control panel overlay.
Everything is done and working great.
Time to play Ice Cold Beer / Zeke's Peak and have a cold one.
Thanks for all the help here.

Found an ICB playfield mostly complete. Thanks to Pinside.
Cleaned and repaired the plastic tub.
Now I am totally finished with this project.

7DA1BB4E-F49A-493F-9B28-ACC3B165102B (resized).jpegI might be thinking of selling the one I put together. If anyone in interested in it let me know and make me an offer. I really don't need two of them.
These are what should be holding the playfield in place, right below the motors.
And a picture of the belts. You will only need two of them. I have had good luck with them.

20B00790-0F3C-4C58-99F6-EDEEB428C34B (resized).jpegI have put a couple of drops of 3 in 1 oil on the gears, but it might still be the motors that are getting loud with age. It could also be the side rails that need to be cleaned and they are cousing extra stress on the motors.
Quoted from Skyemont:Anyone have a ICB for sale. I have not seen to many posted lately.
The one I built sold locally. I never posted a for sale ad.
Quoted from flashinstinct:Would there be interest in a reprint of the scoring panel (yellow) and (white zeal’s)? I still have my print files.
I could use one or two of each of them.
Check fuses and reset all the connectors. After that start checking the voltages off the power supply in the bottom. They are in the manual that is online. If all are correct then something on the main board may be the problem. That is where I would start.
Quoted from Gundam_Pilot_:Does anyone have links to the coil plunger, coil, and sleeve?
I am running into an issue where the game does not kick the ball back up into the main playfield. I get no solenoid fire. I cannot remember which transistor it is that drives that solenoid, but this has never worked in my posession.
Any help would be appreciated!
Did you see this post, as this is what fixed mine;

Quoted from yzfguy:After sitting on this for two months and trying a bunch of trades, I'd take 3400 cash for Zeke's peak with extra mpu board and new belt set. North Jersey.
Wish it was closer to me.
Quoted from yzfguy:I have an extra mpu board with my Zeke's peak. I have never tested it because my installed board is fine. I'd be willing to try it out in the game to confirm it works if you are interested in buying.
I could use the ZP CPU. As I now have a ZP playfield and a glass.

Quoted from MarklarD:Ive been having problems with the solenoid/plunger rod that kicks the ball back into the starting position. I did some searching around here a few months back but couldnt find any solid info on what to replace it with. Does anyone happen to have any product they can point me to to replace them both?
The solenoid kicks, and the plunger rod hits the ball up but it doesnt have enough power to make it all the way around the curve. Any help is appreciated!
Edit: Its a zekes peak if it makes any difference.
Have you tried this. It solved my problem.
