    Quoted from swinks:

agree Fifth Element would be awesome, leelu, awesome city cars, collect the 5 stones - would be a sweet game and suit a pinball perfectly

Milla Jovovich's amazing bod and skimpy clothing aside I will never understand how some people enjoyed that movie...

Although filmed in English it was produced by a French studio and some of the early adivertisements promoted it as something like "The French Answer to Star Wars."

Didn't have to get very far into the movie before thinking... "Yeah, that ad basically says it all."

    Just so bad.

    +1 on Resident Evil!

Whooooo! Now that's a Milla Jovovich pin I can get behind!

    Quoted from someoneelse:

Not that reviews are worth anything, but you are utterly alone with your opinion. It's one of the highest rated sci-fi movies ever: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119116/?ref_=nv_sr_1.

Yeah, I am painfully aware that people like it, just can't see why...

Maybe part of my disillusionment with it comes from seeing it when it first came out as opposed to years later on video as an easily influenced teenager who was already primed for fanboy status by its subsequent (and entirely misguided in my opinion) accolades and cult classic position.

Flash Gordon is pretty cornball and I love it, but expected it to be over the top. Fifth Element was being hyped as "serious" sci-fi not some "bizarre sci-fi action comedy romance" before it came out so my reaction was basically... wtf... wtf...

If I had an accurate set of expectations for what it was going to be like, I doubt I would have seen it at all.

    Quoted from xeneize:

Gonna say it again... I realize the theme is no longer as "relevant", but there sure is a lot of material from which to draw/design. Imagine a current day STTNG caliber game!

Original series (but not 1980) would be good too... I'm big on 70s sci-fi and the toys and art would be lots of fun with vintage and a bright cheerful/cheesy layout. New BSG would be great too, but require much darker colors and vibe.

I doubt either have the mass appeal they would need to sell though.

ZARDOZ or Logan's Run would work for me too!
