I do repairs in the local area and probably don't charge enough, but still enjoy doing it (most of the time). Knowing EMs gives me a niche other techs in the area don't really have. I tell people up front with EMs that it will be a minimum of $450 and the machine has to come here. I don't pack a bunch of parts for house calls, so many times I have repeat visits but stay busy enough where I can combine trips so it isn't as bad.
