I just installed the Newton ball mod on mine and I really like it! It opens up beast and Xavier shots a huge amount and no longer makes wolvie a given! The mod works really well and it makes the playfield look less full whithout wolvie there which I kind of like but kind of miss wolvie too!

There's no modifying of the wolvie figure you remove him completely and install the mod. It's reasonably easy to install the only real issue is the plastics are hard to get the posts into as the plastic as they're quite tight by design.
