I saw that... but in the pin2dmd I think you can select colors for each intensity of the dots.. that is what I am looking for... there was also the DMD extender that does that... but I can find no info.... I think If I could just select the colors for the intensity I could make things look 1000x better...

I have no problem using the editor... I am looking for a plug and play setup for the DMD system... from what I have read, I need to buy the DMD from one place, a controller from another... you need to have the right version of the controller for Gottlieb etc... I am looking for a DMD I can Swap in and then do the editing or color palette changes...
I have some extra, I can sell you ones that will work in those machines. I just configured one for SFII, so should be the same.

Well, you can buy a Gottlieb Sigma display and install it now, pick any single color for now until it is fully colorized. Make sure you select Gottlieb, so you get all the needed cables.

BTW, I've personally used the DE JP and Getaway PIN2DMD colorizations. The DE JP was superior to ColorDMD IMO, and the Getaway was also except at the time I had it the video game was not colorized nor the scrolling map (I think both of these animations have been colorized since).

Pin2DMD has no solution for Waterworld for full color, along with 100 other titles.
ColorDMD now supports this title, Waterworld, which is what this thread is all about.
I will not disagree with Rescue 911 can be a year or more away from ColorDMD having it fully colorized. No way to know until it is announced.

Yes, and I provided a list showing that Waterworld has not been done on PIN2DMD, even though the PIN2DMD was mentioned above. In other words, if you are looking for a ready to go solution, PIN2DMD is currently not an option for WW.
Just a strange thing to downvote a post on topic showing that fact. BTW, I’ve received numerous DVs, and I actually kind of enjoy them more than UVs.
