Since you live so far away, I would recommend SM over IM. (if you were closer you would be in competition with me to buy one!!!) 
It seems like IM is a harder pin to play with short ball times. That perception could be my talent level though.
They are both great pins. Some peeps really like POTC and TSPP, too....
