Anyone ever seen a bingo like the three on the 3rd row from top that have a wood box attached to the cabinet's front underside? I'd guess those "expansion boxes" allow the coin box to sit lower and accept more coins, but if so, it seems like a crazy scheme that would be vulnerable to theft (take a crowbar to that box and you're in the inner sanctum). It must have been a hell of a lucrative route for the operator. I'd love to hear what you all think.

These games used to be in places with people overseeing them 24/7. It’s not like today where you could play pinball for an hour and never see a soul. Back then pinball made huge money and someone was always there, otherwise who would provide the payouts? I believe that box was for the gambling payout features. Might be wrong.
