So I am restoring a 1962 Chicago Coin Starlite bowler. Its a shuffle bowler. When I first got it I plugged it in and the lights all came on and such. So I took out the back panel with the score motors and relays. I also took out the front panel withe the steppers and reels. I cleaned all these and reassembled the parts I was willing to take apart. I did not put the panels back into the main machine box or playfield. I plug in the back panel with the transformer. I then plug in some of the connectors for the pin deck or front panel. But now none of the lights come on or anything. I measure power coming to and from the transformer. I measure power to the connectors too. But the lights dont go on and the pin deck does nothing. Is this because it only works if every connector is plugged back in including the playfield and coin mech? Its odd that it worked before I removed it and now it doesnt. I even check and replaced all the fuses with the poroper working ones. Just confused. Heres some pics of the machine and apart with panels not fixed up and clean and an example of some connectors. 8E9C7E92-A87C-43C5-8489-D6D918FD947D (resized).jpeg8E9C7E92-A87C-43C5-8489-D6D918FD947D (resized).jpeg

I would say that the on/off switch wiring goes thru that playfield jones plug. Jumping these 2 wires on the female jones plug should power up the machine.

Ill give it a try. Only thing I can think of since the only difference is its now cleaner and not in the wood frame connected to the play field.
