Quoted from Completist:

So I’ve determined that to get into what i really want the budget is shite. I’ll need to improve that 25k of mine for sure. It was prob a decent budget a year ago but today things are just silly. I thought pinball was bad. I may choose to lighten up in the game room to accomplish this lol.
I’m not going to turn this into a used car price bitch thread though. That’s not going to change the market.
Leaning towards American muscle. C6 Vette, prefer the wide body. Though i still like the popup headlights of the C5 and that wouldn’t be a budget killer
Or stretch it out and get the Gen 2 Viper which i have always liked, though it has a much greater chance of killing me haha. I do prefer the GTS over the roadsters but the wife did want a convertible. Removable hardtop is close enough right?

To get the current market prices, go the the Barrett-Jackson dot com site, register and look at the hammer prices from the Las Vegas event just held. I attended it in the new West Hall of the LVCC. Several Corvettes there, including C5's and C6's. I only recall one Viper on the floor. It was newer based on the exhaust pipe covering. An amazing event.
