In no way is saying "play better" practical advice. Explaining techniques on how to avoid draining would be a much better and worthwhile response. That's like saying to a short person "be taller", instead of suggesting that they use a step stool or ladder and where to find one.
Your point about games with shallow rulesets being drainers seems to make sense for most cases. Though, STTNG is a drainer and the rules there aren't shallow.
