Quoted from CarShark:

I played at Marvelous Marvin's, and I just thought it was OK. It's tough to gauge with v 0.5 code, but the modes felt very similar and the Captain's Chair wasn't ready, so I spent most of my time trying for multiballs. I'm not a big "flow" person and the game frequently sped up on me.

*The warp ramp was an impossible dream. I think I hit it twice in 10 games.

*Hated the left lane mode start. Lost at least five balls because of the post to the right of it.

*The game could really use a kickback. So many left outlane drains.

well said..........Exactly how I felt after I played it.

Quoted from markmon:

I disagree. I think all those things are as intended. The cannon shoots at at target and sometimes the bell. The lower pf is basic. The acdc rules are very polished. Sure, more could always be done. But the code in acdc is done of the best in any game. It's not unfinished and should not make any owner mad at stern.

Sorry but lmfao is not a counter to his point. Xmen needs some final work. It's been a long road but its finally in good shape. There is a wizard mode but it is stubbed In. I wouldn't call xmen finished but its close.
TAV code is great. Was released good. The entire game is these. It provides a decent strategic rule stacked game. Could things be added? Always. But TAV is as finished as any other game in the last 20 years.
TF code is not great. But the whole game is there and the biggest community gripe was addresses. This game is not unfinished.
A small bug here or a switch that feels under used or an unneeded flasher not being used in the end does not mean the game is unfinished. The only games that need serious code work at Metallica and Star Trek. Xmen needs a little polish. And everything else (except long abandoned wof) is fine if never touched again.

Reminds me of that scene from "The Jerk"
