Imagine this poster going in your game room, what color would you go for? the pink/purple or the grey/black?

Probably the first one. It would be better to me if it just said "CLASSICS".

    #3 3 years ago

Both are cool. Personally I'd go for the black, but then set the tag line in pinkish-red. Do that and you've got my $$$

Thank you for the comment so far, these are not the final product, it's about 90% and changes may come.
Please keep the constructive comments coming!

If anyone comes of with a catchier tag line please let me know, Maximum 3 words though

    #7 3 years ago

Here's a slightly edited and inverted background option.

Both look great, I would go the first on but put a black frame around it.

    #9 3 years ago

    I'd rather it say this...

    "Classic Pin"

    #11 3 years ago

    Maybe just "Pinball Classics"?

    "Legends of Pinball"?

    #12 3 years ago

Thanks for the feedback so far, please keep it coming

Here's a new version with a different tag line.

Anybody like the ultimate pinbrawl version better?

    #15 3 years ago

    "Pinball Legends"

The fading red background is good for a poster

The black background makes a nice screen saver.

No background, and you have a good t-shirt design.

Change the Twilight Zone dude (since you have the spiral) for a Martian and call it the Magnificent 7. I like the darker purple coloring. Undecided whether I like the inverted one better than the normal version yet.

Okay, thanks you for the feedback. I'll think about replacing Rod Sterling with a Martian.

Looking at poll results 71% like the version with the black/grey background, it would be nice to know why
Is it just more pleasing to the eye, with more muted background?

    #19 3 years ago

go the purple, it suits the era

    #20 3 years ago

I definitely preferred the first version you posted. Not sure why, I just like the depth of color.

Aside: It's kinda weird to think of these games as "classics" now... Oh man.

    #21 3 years ago

Just FYI the t-shirts will have a transparent background.
I wish I could make a new poll for the tag line instead

    #22 3 years ago

So, here's a new version with the pattern on an angle.
Maybe I'm focusing on the wrong thing here?
What's do you think I should be focusing on? The background or the tag line? I'd like the design to be pleasing to as many people as possible

    It's missing Rudy.

    #24 3 years ago

Personally, I feel like the choice of characters and the "tag line" is more important than color choice. Like instead of the knight helmet, an Addam's Family reference would be warmly received, as would Rudy, or maybe even "Whirlwind Guy holding red button." Although if we're talking only about Dot Matrix games here, I get that.

I quite liked "respect the classics" although at the same time, "ultimate pinbrawl" gives a fun nod to something like the "super smash brothers" series of video games (whether that was intentional or not) where you're pitting classic game characters in a battle of who's better.

    #25 3 years ago

Um, these aren't Classics. These are Moderns.

Including only pins with dots in this one.

I feel you. I hade something like a pro wrestling poster in mind with the pinbrawl titel, I vanged ot from respect the classisc because some people like swampfire for example regard these pins as modern.

I allready made a poster with uncle fester in it, that's why I didnt include TAF in this print.

I though I'd try one last version before I finalize this.
Here's one without the "Swril" in the background and the heads a little bigger.
