I completely understand your feelings. He is my "Obi" that we picked up at 6 weeks old 12 years ago. We had to put him down last year and it was probably the hardest thing I have done. The first pic was 2 years before he died. He was getting laser surgery and they put special goggles on him. Basically, when the quality of life for the animal is diminished you need to make the hard decision. I have had two Komondors now and probably won't get another just because of the end of life decision. It's just too tough.
