I always take comfort in knowing my dog Johnny had a great life. We spent 15 great years together Towards the end, I made him eggs every morning and made sure he was comfortable no matter what. He was a rescue and followed me around everywhere. Super hard to let him go last year but that was the best thing for him. He was the only person in the house that never argued with me and the first one to greet me when I opened the door. Letting him go was brutal but he had a great life and I got to be part of it.
